Throughout the course, students will engage in a unique and interactive learning experience, acquiring and practicing the fundamentals of coding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What you will learn during the Coding Summer School:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Introduction to programming<\/strong>: data, data types and logical constructs essential in any programming language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Javascript and Kaboom.js<\/strong>: an in-depth look at the syntax and main functions of Javascript and the Kaboom.js library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Development of a video game<\/strong>: using the technologies learnt to create a customised video game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Group work<\/strong>: practical and collaborative experience developing software with other participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button btn-blu-scuro\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"#richiedi-informazioni\">GET MORE INFORMATION<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button btn-grigio-chiaro\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">SIGN UP HERE<\/a><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Week scheme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Lesson times for the <strong>programming course<\/strong> are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Mornings and afternoons: theoretical lessons, in-depth workshops, and project development in groups.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Evening (residential formula): leisure and entertainment activities are available to students residing in Luiss residences or affiliated facilities<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conclusive test and start of the Luiss admission path<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n<p>On Friday, a psycho-attitudinal test is organised, allowing students to earn bonus points that will count towards the <strong>earlier admission test<\/strong>, which will take place during Orientation 4 the following year. This test is identical to the one for Orientation 3 participants, offering a tangible opportunity to commence their academic careers.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Participation in the test is reserved for students who, at the time of attending Orientation 3, have completed the third-to-last year of high school and attended the entire week of the program, with no more than one justified absence.<br>The test is held online on Friday morning, at the end of the week attended, and lasts 60 minutes. It consists of 40 multiple-choice questions covering psycho-aptitude, problem-solving, and mathematics.<br>Each correct answer is worth +1 point, each incorrect answer \u20130.25 points, and unanswered or multiple answers are scored 0.
